Better nutrition planning, seamless PCT prescription integration & clearer soil reporting

At Agworld, we're continuing to improve the tools growers and agronomists rely on to make confident, data-driven decisions. Our latest updates focus on helping users better understand nutrient investment, optimize the PCT prescription integration, and improve clarity when interpreting soil test data.

Together, these new features deliver greater visibility, flexibility, and confidence across the entire nutrition planning process, from soil analysis through to nutrient targeting and budgeting.

New planned nutrition report

Agworld has introduced a new Planned Nutrition Report, designed to help farm businesses better understand and manage one of their largest operational costs: nutrition inputs.

Unlike traditional input reports that focus primarily on products, this new report surfaces the underlying elemental nutrition values applied across farms, fields, and crops. This provides a clearer agronomic and budgeting perspective for planners and farm managers.

Key benefits include:

  • View planned elemental nutrition by field
  • Understand nutrient allocation beyond product totals
  • Identify where nutrition spend is concentrated
  • Compare planned nutrition across fields and crops
  • Support more informed budgeting and allocation decisions

The report is available from the Planning Report page and includes filtering tools that allow users to drill into specific farms, crops, fields, and date ranges.

Faster PCT prescription integration

We've also improved the workflow between PCT and Agworld to help users move fertilizer recommendations from prescription to execution more efficiently. This enhancement addresses a common bottleneck where prescriptions arriving from PCT required users to manually select the fertilizer product before they could be approved.

What's new:
  • Direct product linking: PCT users can now link an Agworld fertilizer product directly to a PCT formula using the Get from Agworld option
  • Pre-populated inputs: Prescriptions generated from linked formulas now arrive in Agworld with the Input field already completed.
  • Faster approval workflow: Users no longer need to click Change Input and manually select a product before approving a prescription.
  • Improved workflow adoption: Reducing manual steps helps ensure more prescriptions progress from Draft status into active workflows.

These improvements provide a more seamless experience between PCT and Agworld, helping growers and agronomists move recommendations into operational plans faster while reducing the risk of prescriptions being overlooked or delayed.

Soil test units now displayed on reports

To improve confidence when interpreting soil data, Agworld reports now display soil test units directly alongside all soil test values. Because soil results often come from multiple laboratories using different measurement systems, visible units help reduce confusion and improve consistency across reports.

This update includes:
  • Soil test units (such as ppm or lbs/ac) displayed next to values
  • Support for mixed-unit scenarios within the same report
  • Consistency between report units and those shown in maps
This enhancement applies automatically to:
  • Precision Report PDFs
  • Sample Report PDFs

No changes have been made to data models, conversions, or report layouts.

Supporting better agronomic decisions

Together, these updates strengthen Agworld's nutrition planning capabilities by helping users:

  • Gain clearer visibility into nutrient investment
  • Move fertilizer recommendations from planning to execution more efficiently
  • Improve confidence when interpreting soil data
  • Make more informed planning and budgeting decisions

These enhancements were built directly in response to customer feedback and reflect the practical workflows growers and agronomists manage every day.
