Agworld is excited to announce that, for a second year running, the Thrive Agtech & SVG Ventures team has selected Agworld as part of the prestigious Thrive Top 50. The organization behind Thrive, in collaboration with EY, Corteva, Land O’Lakes, Driscoll Berries, Taylor Farms, Trimble, Yamaha and others, have vetted over 1,500 global technology companies in this rigorous process. The final list spotlights the companies that exemplify the best in agriculture technology around the world. Agworld Chief Science Officer & Co-founder Matt Powell comments: “It is really great to get this kind of recognition two years in a row. We work hard every day to help growers and service providers transform agriculture; it’s moments like these that let us reflect on what we are doing and it confirms that we are on the right track. To be named on the same list as Aerofarms and Indigo is a great honour and it shows the potential that the selection team sees in Agworld.”
Agworld, now in its 9th year of operation, has matured quickly over the last 24 months and is now seen as one of the world’s leading independently owned agtech organisations. Mr Powell: “The uptake that we are seeing of our product and the enthusiasm of our services by our users really shows that we are on the right track. We have had a vision since the day we started in 2009 and we have stayed truthful to that vision. We have been passionate about offering a collaborative solution that connects key stakeholders and agricultural and financial data points within agriculture from day one, and that has not changed.”
Got what it takes to join the Agworld team? We’re looking for talented individuals to help us deliver innovative solutions in agriculture.
“It would be easy for us to follow the ‘hype of the day’ and get distracted with what we offer our user base. Our financial and customer success confirms however that we need to continue with what we are doing best: connecting growers and their stakeholders on one platform so they can work on the same set of data and are enabled to make more profitable decisions.”
The Thrive Innovation Summit is held on March 27th at Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley where Beth Ford, CEO of Land O’lakes and other top leaders will be providing keynote speeches. Agworld will be present at this summit and they look forward to meeting you there.
