Intuitive Soil Sampling with Sequential Numbering in Agworld
We heard you! Agworld is happy to announce an update to our soil sampling workflow: sequentially numbered points for both point and grid sampling jobs. This improvement brings industry-standard practice into our platform, making planning, labeling, and field sampling quick and intuitive.
What’s New?
With this release, you have the option of sequentially numbering sampling points in Agworld to match your soil sample bag labels (1 through X). Whether you’re using point or grid sampling, this option eliminates the need for barcodes while maintaining accuracy and organization.
How It Works
- Start the Sampling Job: Create your sampling plan in Agworld, selecting either a Grid or Point job type.
- Enable Numbering: Toggle on “Use Sequential Points” to assign numbers to each point instead of showing a standard map marker.
- Drop Points on the Map: Add or edit your sampling locations.
- Seamless Field Collection: Use the numbered points from the mobile sampling app as your guide in the field, matching them directly to labeled sample bags without needing barcodes. Include a printed lab submission report so your lab sends results directly to your Agworld account.
This streamlined approach supports familiar workflows and ensures easy collaboration among sampling teams.
Key Benefits
- Traditional Sampling Workflow: Sequential numbering of point and grid samples makes field operations more intuitive for users accustomed to a traditional sampling workflow.
- No Barcodes: Easily track sample points without relying on barcodes.
- Enhanced Clarity: Customer-labeled bags reduce confusion in sample identification.
- Customer-Focused Feature: Updates are based on user feedback to better meet your operational needs.
